Sally's+Ulta Haul

Soooo, my spending ban lasted longer than I thought it would- I only broke a month away from my actual goal, which I'm pretty proud of.  My friend and I went out today and went to Sally's and Ulta's, which was like putting a child in a candy store. The temptation was real folks, and I eventually succumbed to it.  Anywho, here is what I got on my breaking day!

I was finally able to get ahold of the cult favorite, Seche Vite top coat and I got the Seche clear base coat for free at Sally's! I am beyond excited to try this out because I've heard Vivianna talk so much about it on her blog.  I then picked up some Avocado cuticle oil because my poor nails are taking a beating this winter, and I'm hoping that this will help to revive them.  I also got a 4D nail art kit, which I'm super excited to use, because I've seen people with the 4D designs but have never known how they got them- until now!
Then onto Ulta, ahh yes, it's been far too long my friend.  I first picked up the Tarte Brighter Days kit, which came with Marajocan Oil, Amazonian Clay Mask, Amazonian Clay finishing powder, and 12 hour blush in 'Adored'.  I've been wanting to try some Tarte products, and I think this is the best way for me to try them without shelling out all of the money for each individual product.  I then picked up a Juicy Couture rollerball perfume, which is a scent I've been dying to try since I received a sample in my Birchbox a few months back.  It's different from my signature Vera Wang Princess perfume, and I really liked the floral notes that it contains.  I was then able to snag the last Rose Glow 'shimmer brick' by Revlon at Ulta's! I have read so many great things about this little highlighter and blusher duo that I've been dying to get my hands on one, and the Rose Glow color just looks so pretty and so 'me' that I knew that it would be the color I got once I bought it.  Finally I got a non-oil face oil, if that makes any sense.  This is a facial oil by Peter Thomas Roth that was at the checkout at Ulta's, and I've been trying to get more into facial oils so I figured why not? It claims to be more like water than oil in feeling because it's made from Squalane. There's a whole complicated explanation as to what that is on the back of the box but I'm not going to delve into that now.  Have you had any Ulta/Sephora/Drugstore hauls as of late? XOXO

  1. Seche Vite top coat is my holy grail.

Also, Seche Vite makes a really nice nail polish thinner. It's perfect for when their topcoat gets a bit too clumpy.
