Some of my views on beauty and makeup

This isn't going to be my normal post about a new look I tried or a new product I picked up, although don't worry because I have quite a few new products that I've picked up and have been testing so the usually will be back soon.
Today I wanted to share with you my views on beauty and makeup.  Obviously I love it or else I wouldn't be running this blog.  As the title of my blog states, every face is a blank canvas- an artists work space.  That's the way I like to think of it because I'm not that great of a draw-er artist but for some reason the makeup is so much easier for me to play with and not worry about messing up.  For me, it's something that comes naturally- the brush strokes, the mixing of colors, and trying new products left and right. It's something you can play with and come up with some really weird stuff and if you don't like it, hey, it comes off with a simple swipe of a makeup removing towelette.
As for beauty, everyone has beauty- new clothes, old clothes, makeup, no makeup, whatever.  No one can not be beautiful.  No 'beauty is in the eye of beholder' mumbo jumbo, beauty is not a size or a number it's you being who you are.  For me it's being unabashedly nerdy and strange.

Life Update!

Hi everyone! I know I've been a bad blogger lately and haven't posted but I've been a bit preoccupied with finishing up the semester and graduating.  This past weekend I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts from Stephens College.  I also took my final bow on the mainstage, which signified everyone moving onto bigger and better things.  Let me just say, these past three years have been a ride- I've found myself and lost myself, learned who to trust and how to identify emotions, I became the person I am today.  So, for your viewing pleasure here are some photos from the last three years so you can see the change (physically) in me.  I will be back to posting regularly soon, so don't worry!
