Makeup Revolution Palette Review

Hello my lovely stars, long time no speak! I'm sorry for the fairly long, unintentional, break from my blog- life got hectic with the show I'm in and life got away from me.  We're up and running now, so I'm back in the saddle again and heading right out of the gate with a review of the Makeup Revolution London palette from Ulta.  Specifically the Iconic 3 Redemption eyeshadow palette, the rose gold one.  What caught my eye about this product is that it was only $7 and my thought was, oh boy this is going to be bad but... Well, just keep reading.
Makeup Revolution was initially only sold in the UK (I believe) but has now made it's way to the states,  specifically Ulta and boy oh boy was I chomping at the bit to try some of the palettes that I have read and heard some of my favorite beauty bloggers talk about! It took me awhile to find the little stand, but it's an end cap at my store like the Essence Beauty stand and when I got there I was shocked by what I saw.  The prices were so reasonable!! $7 for a full palette? That can't be true! The color pay off must be horrendous or they must be horribly chalky to be that inexpensive right? Absolutely not.
These shadows are buttery and not chalky at all, at least the ones that I have used are not.  The pigmentation is really good for the price, $7. To get the most bang for your buck with these palettes, I would definitely use an eye primer because it allows the product to stay without creasing or rubbing off and it also increases the pigmentation that you see.
The color swatched with only one swipe and no primer.
Have you tried any of the Makeup Revolution products? If so, what do you think about them? XOXO
